Algorithmic Longing

We match so well  on paper, the algorithm told me so. You keep popping in my window so that I can follow and be known.

You keep asking for connection, for a partner in this world, 

But you keep asking for support while scrolling past my post.

How is it that we can want the same things? Be ignited by the same passions but keep missing  each other's “follow” action? 

Am I not as good as others? Or is the next one just a little better?

I completely understand because I too am waiting for something greater.
