Serenade of the Moon

In the velvet cloak of night's embrace,
Where stars weave dreams in cosmic lace,
The moon, a silver lantern, aglow,
Serenades the world with a gentle flow.

Its beams caress the silent sea,
Where waves dance in harmony,
A nocturnal waltz, soft and deep,
Where secrets of the night they keep.

Through whispered leaves, a nocturne hums,
As crickets play their lullaby drums,
The symphony of night's sweet embrace,
A melody spun in time and space.

Oh, moonlit muse, in silent flight,
Illuminate the realms of night,
Guide our hearts with your celestial tune,
In the serenade of the silver moon.
