OATHS AND ILLUSIONS: THE VIETNAM EXPERIENCE

OATHS AND ILLUSIONS: THE VIETNAM EXPERIENCE

In Vietnam, the truth became clear. The future was not ours.

It belonged to the children in schools, the kids of the powerful who twisted the rules. They evaded the draft, attended fine universities, and lived in safety. They went to Canada or found favor in their faith.

The future slipped away from those of us who did not remain in high school. It was not for the kids who left to work, struggling earn a living. It did not belong to the working-class who could not afford college.

For those of us who answered the call, whether drafted or not, we stood firm. We held to our oaths, believing our leaders had honor. In the end, we learned they did not.

I'm excited to share the launch of Vietnam Uncensored will take place in early November. I warmly invite you to join the Vietnam Jerry community. You’ll be glad you did. As a member, you’ll get an exclusive look at the first chapter and hear the captivating ghost story of Corporal Cummings, as featured on NPR.

All net proceeds will benefit veterans in need through the Kaufman Fund. So, hop on this journey with us! Enjoy a good read, special launch prices, and authentic giveaways while supporting our veterans.

Looking forward to seeing you there. Thank you.

Best regards.
