The Woman from Afghanistan

Monday 29th of July 2024

She entered my office in the German town, bringing the fragrance of sweet-scented flowers. She carried her braid like a majestic crown: A woman who had some incredible powers.  Her eyes were reflecting the world in her soul: A woman created for love and delight, But she was in deepest depression devoured, Although her strength hid her sadness from sight.  It seemed all her faith in humans was vanished And it was only God who helped her to survive: She fled from her land, from where she was banished, From everything dearest she was deprived.  I cannot remember her name, but her face Will always remind me the stren...

Fade Away

Sunday 28th of July 2024

the touch of your skin
is a whisper of warmth
a delicate caress that lingers
like a tender secret shared
under the moonlight
it’s a moment
where time stands still
where every sensation
is amplified by touch
I am so lost
within you
within me
I close my eyes
and let the world
fade away

Winter Story

Friday 26th of July 2024

In the blizzard there was sleigh
Which was searching for its way.
It had lost its safety track
All around was cold and black.

The human maintained its speed
By whipping hard the doggy breed
Cause in the storm he froze in fear
He hoped his saviours are near.

But all the dogs pulled aside
Cause from the whip they tryed to hide.
The human from exhaustion dropped
And the cruel whipping stopped.

Dogs and man slept in the storm
Back by back to keep them warm.
Till the morning they survived
All of them were still alive.

Sometimes it is a wise decision
To abandon all division.

TEE BOX BLUES

Friday 26th of July 2024

Oh Lord I’ve got those tee box blues,I tell ya my friends; it’s why I always lose.I got it bad, I got them old blues,I just can’t shake these tee box blues.***Once again I’m a standin’ on this here 18th tee,Lookin’ out on the beautiful green before me,Callaway’s Big ‘ol Bertha in my hand, teasingly,My turn to hit the final drive of the day mercifully.***Stooping to tee a Callaway ball afore my address,Standing quickly, as I find myself near breathless,My lungs are screaming, but, not I’m not dying, I guess,My feet are now scrambling to position, what a mess.***I take a practice swing, it’s grooved it seems,It feels good and looks smooth, everyone agrees.Contemplating my s...

Transplantation

Thursday 25th of July 2024

For some time he lost his ease,
He couldn't sleep and eat.
A cruel heart and lungs disease
Grasped him from beneath.

But during a long visitation
The doctor mentioned that he could
Save his life with transplantation -
To young hope was casted food.

So in teeth he clutched his breath
And vigorously crying
Please God save me from the death
Let someone else be dying

.
Medicine gives only hope,
Holding life with greed.
Standing on a deadly slope,
It is soul we need.

Trotter & Sluggish

Wednesday 24th of July 2024

"Trotter & Sluggish" by Thomas Rodre Trotter and Sluggish are quite a pair Who would think they would venture to dareBecome best friends when they differ so greatlyA pony and a snail? Heavens to Betsy! Trotter the pony is as fast as a trainSluggish the snail moves his best, but sadly in vainFor it takes Sluggish all day to catch up to the steedAt about 3 inches per hour, his "fastest" speed. But when they are together they have the bestest of timeTrotter whinnies loudly and sluggish trails slimeSometimes the snail will hitch a rideOn Trotter's hoof, who then gallops n stride One day Sluggish was nowhere to be seenUntil Trotter found him in a nearby stream"I'm jus...

Although she stoops from graceful bloom

Let not melancholy preside

For she communicated my message of love to you

And fulfilled her purpose with pride

Time:

Saturday 20th of July 2024

TIME A silent thief, a fleeting friend,A constant rhythm, never at an end.Time, the sculptor, with hands unseen,Shapes our moments, the what-has-been.        :A gift we're given, a precious store,Measured in breaths, from the day we're born.No currency buys it, no bargain to strike,Once spent, it vanishes, lost in the night.        :First breath, first laugh, a teardrop's stain,The echo of memories, whispered in the rain.Last words spoken, a final sigh,Time's tapestry woven, before we die.        :    "This time," "next time," a fleeting phrase,Promises whispered,...

A Crown Of Dandelions

Saturday 20th of July 2024

A Crown Of DandelionsA crown of dandelions, a child lost in the chase,Sun sank low, casting shadows on her face.Tears fell like rain, fear wrapped her in its hold,When a figure emerged, a story yet untold.Tall and cloaked, with eyes of endless night,The Angel of Death bathed in the pale moonlight."Lost, little soul?" his voice a gentle breeze,"Don't fret, child," he whispered, "come, find comfort with ease."Years turned to seasons, the girl by his side,Witnessed life's tapestry, where joy and sorrow hide. She saw souls depart, like leaves on the breeze,Felt the weight of his burden, the weight on his knees. He, the weaver of endings, the keeper of night,His eyes held the stories, of every fadi...

I am learning to breathe deep in the middle of everything,   ❤Verse 1Amidst the shadows, I'm finding my way,Learning to breathe deep as skies turn gray,Life's a heavy burden, dragging me down,But I'm grasping for air in this relentless town. ❤Pre-ChorusThrough the tear-stained nights and the sunless days,I'm holding onto fragments of yesterday,With every labored breath, a sigh I release,Learning to cope, seeking inner peace. ❤ChorusI am learning to breathe deep in the middle of everything,In sorrow's embrace, my spirit's thinning,In the heart of despair, I stand alone,Embracing the pain, as my heart turns to stone. ❤Verse 2In the midst of heartache, a silent ...
